The construction of 3 pillar posts in 31 urban villages that spread in North Jakarta are deemed effectively to ward off social unrest during Ramadhan. Considering, these urban villages are prone to criminal action lately.

"North Jakarta is indeed prone to criminal action because a lot of region used as a gathering place of various ethnic. Among them are from Tanjung Priok, Simpang Enggano, Jalan RE Martadinata, Ancol, and Gunung Sahari," told North Jakarta Mayor, Rustam Effendi, Tuesday (6/30).

Those 3 posts that consist of national army, police, and government are also very important for the people, because they has the function of early detection and prevention.

"Many activities will be exist during Ramadhan, especially teenagers where it has potential to cause social unrest. We have Satpol PP personnel to monitor each region, while 4-5 personnel will be on standby at the post. And the rest will do patrols," explained Effendi.

Due to it is effective, the posts operational would be continued until post-Idul Fitri.
